    Yes this is possible.
    What is the operating system?
Are you using a router, how are the notebooks attached?

Only if it's wireless or it can be wired to the network, I have both kinds. My wireless has an ethernet card that connects to any computer in the house, just by running the software in all of the machines. If you have no wireless card you can still share the printer in by selecting shared in the properties menu of the printer, it will still need to be wired to one of the machines If it is not a wireless device.Another way is to connect it to a home network through the router, but it will still need to be connected to a Lan through the router and thus have an IP address has network printing capabilitys.

Aswell as my daughter I've installed the drivers (Vista and 7) of the Lexmark x4550 wireless, but she can only print when my laptop is 'on'. How can she print without the use of my laptop.

Hello,
All you need to do is to remove the printer currently added on your daughter's laptop(most likely it is the printer installed on your laptop)and then add the lexmark printer manually on your daughters laptop. Make sure when you do this your laptop is turned off. If this won't work, that means that the laptop of your daughter does not detect the wireless printer.
hope this helps...

Connected Canon MP610 to Apple Time capsule via USB. My Macbook pro prints wirelessly perfectly, as does my sons Vista Laptop, however my daughters vista laptop and my wifes XP laptop print black fine, but...

Hi richardhaley,
Isee that you are having issues with your Canon MP610 printer.
You mentioned that your printer is connected to an Apple Time capsule via USB and that it works fin on your Macbook and on your sons Vista Laptop but prints the colored shifted to the right on your daughter's Vista and wife's XP Laptop and this is connected via USB.
If I may ask have you tried printing wireless using your daughters Vista Laptop and you wife's XP Laptop to see if the colors are still gonna shifted to the right.
Also you mentioned the drive that the driver you are using is from bonjour but still you have the same problem.
Here is a link where you can download drivers specific for the versions of windows your daughter's Vista and your wife's XP would have, you will need to select exactly the OS operating system for the driver that you need also there is a software for each Operating system as well maybe you can download that as well for both system for you to be able to recalibrate the printer from the 2 machines.
I hope that this will help.
Thank you for choosing Fixya,

LexmarLk X4850 fax wireless set-up

Printing: since Lexmark say you can either connect wirelessly or wired and not both, you must either connect your daughter's machine to the hub by wire or yourself to the printer wirelessly.

Fax: this will need a phone line.

Can't find printer on network

1.How are you attaching to the network printer from your daughters computer? IP address, or by the name of the printer...Also make sure you check you are attaching to the network printer, and not local printer.

2. Install the Microsoft TCP/IP version 6 protocol on both computers by clicking install on your LAN properties, then restart PC. This should work!

Epson Stylus CX9400 driver settings

Not sure how you're removing the driver, but if you go to control panel device manager remove the printer totally as an option; reboot and then reload the printer. You also need to identify the remote printer in the print sequence or as your default printer in set-up (device manager). Hope this helps.

Laptops and Wireless internet- printer suddenly won't print

Hi

I'm not sure if this is a problem with just print queueing, or with your network. Nonetheless this posting may help you with the print queueing problem:

This is not my solution but BARRET's. It's worth a try if you have not yet solved your problem.

This model does not come with network printing as far as I know... you would probably have to buy a printserver
