Question about Aprilaire 600 Humidifier
Model 560 worked last year. I noticed there was no codensation after I cranked up the humistat all the way. Opened the panel and the entire unit is bone dry. Cleaned filter, nozzle, feed tube, orifice, etc...
I onlu want to change the solenoid if I have to. Can I run Volt/Ohm testing to see if the solenoid is working?
Yes, just check to see if you have 24 volts going into the solenoid. If you do and it is not opening its probably bad. Since you verified the water lines, filter, orifice and saddle valves are not obstructed. Change the solenoid valve. When you price the part. (it's not cheap) consider paying about 30% more and just change the whole unit.
