Moved HPOfficeJet550 across the room. The printer will not print
I rearranged my office. Unplugged the printer and now it will not print anything from the computer. I unplugged/replugged and still nothing. I do not know if maybe the drivers are offset or somethng else.. I have done everything I know to do. Manually you can make a copy from the top but no communications from the computer to the printer. HELP PLEASE.

Try to wipe the cartridge nozzles with a slightly moistened soft cloth to clean it from dirt and possible clogs. If that doesn't help, try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the other is faulty.
it is possible that if you have moved it to another room, you have connected it to another computer as well. and that computer has no installed driver/software for that printer. make sure to download the right driver for your printer at the manufacturer's website and install it on that computer before you connect the printer to it.
This should help ya out hopefully. Go through your computer and 'uninstall' anything that is installed for your printer. Unplug your printer from your computer. Restart the computer and put in your printer driver disk. Go through the installation, keeping in mind that your printer is still unplugged! The installation will tell you when to plug it back into the computer. Make sure the printer is powered on. And print a test page! You should be good to go!
hi!!!! my diagnose to that problem, maybe the cartridge was damage when you remove it from the printer, because the cartridge is so sensitive when it is not proper remove or installed in the printer.Try to put another cartridge if it is work therefore your cartridge was defective.
Sounds like their is not communications between your printer and computer. Could be a bad USB cable - swap out and see if that fixes it. If not it could be a faulty USB port on the computer or printer. You can check the computer USB port by connecting another device, but there is no way to check the HP's USB port. I would also check printer USB port for dust bunnies! If you're not able to resolve, I think it is time for another printer.
First we need to know how the printer is connected to the computer. Try to print from the front panel of the all-in-one and confirm whether the hardware is working properly or not. If you are able to print from the front panel, then check the printer icon in control panel, if the status of the printer icon is 0 ready status then try to print, if it is not clear all the pending documents and try to print. If it is in network, then we need to configure the port.
