Question about Cisco (VG248) Gateway
We have modems and single line phones hooked to the VG248. The modems function normally but the phones go off hook on their own and can interfere with incoming calls. This indicates it is a real off hook condition at the VG248 and the phones work fine when hung off a Nortel 81c. Is it possibly a voltage problem with the phones since these are using caller ID screens?
Simple,, its your filters. do you have one or two fiters fitted. one at the wall and one at the pc/laptop... unplug and plug back in. Sometimes this does work. if not you need new filter/s
