Jammed paper the paper is jammed in the rollers of the machine

you have an obstruction either a piece of paper between the rolllers or the secondary feed rollers are not turning.... open the machine and follow the feed path ...take a piece of paper and manually feed the paper with the machine in the off position look at the feed rollers then the secondary rollers( usually two small rods with rubber sleeves kissing each other ...if you can look at the sides on the machine( inside the cover) see if the gears ( usually white ) can turn or mesh correctly... if you do not see any obstruction then these rollers are not turning when they are supposed to when you press the print button. 90 percent of these problems are paper jams if no jam something is not activating the feed rollers

Look at the feed rollers.
If you pull the paper cassette out and look into the now exposed area, you will see two rollers in the machine, just above where the roller in the front of the paper cassette was positioned.
If these rollers are worn, they will not grab the paper and pull it out of the paper cassette. This will cause the machine to think that there is a paper jam, even though no paper is found in the machine because the machine is looking for the paper via a paper path sensor in the front of the machine, just a few inches up from the paper cassette.
Look closely at these rollers... they should have a "rough" surface. If any of them are smooth, you will have to replace them.
There are two blue hub rollers and one white roller.

The problem mite be dirty rollers that feed the paper, try cleaning with alcohol or worn out replace. Problem is the paper roller is miss feeding not taking up the paper instead of hitting something in the machine paper jam.

the rollers that feed the paper into the machine have a a set time limit to do so... if the rollers cann't do it in this time limit then you get a paper jam. you either need to clean the rollers with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol ) and a rag or replace the rollers...

Make sure the paper that is in the drawer matches the orientation and size indicated on thje Op Panel Display, If NOT, MAKE IT MATCH.

its the problem of the rollers which pulls the papers they r worn out.I've seen this before repairing computers and asked about fax machines while I am there. There are rollers that cling on to the paper and move it through the machine. When the rollers are worn down they do not grip the paper. For a short fix you can get something rough like sandpaper, brillo pad, etc, and gently scratch the rollers to give them some traction. This will temporarily solve your problem until you can get the rollers replaced.  

Printers that jam usually have worn feed rollers, some where in the machine, or a bad sensor. If worn feed rollers are the problem the paper usually jams in different locations in the machine. If a sensor is bad the paper usually jams in the same spot each time paper is fed into the machine. A new machine does not have worn rollers, but could have a broken sensor. It sounds like the a roller might be worn. There is a company called Tech Support that use to sell a cleaning fluid for paper feed rollers. You can use alcohol but alcohol dries out rubber, but you can use it to diagnose the problem. Clean all visible rollers. Especially the rollers that the paper jams between.

The paper is jammed around the fuser roller, you will have to remove the fuser and clean the mess.

That is the problem, machine will show printer jam if paper feed rollers fail to pick up paper when requested, your machine sounds like it needs new paper feed roller or you can clean the paper feed roller with a slightly! damp cloth.

If no jam light shows when power is turn on and machine comes to ready and then you send a job to printer and it then shows jam then it is the feed roller or sometimes the feed clutch

If on the other hand it always show jam then there is or a switch is stuck.

Can be tricky people usally damage the fuser rollers removing this jam with pliers/tweezers, it has concertined and stuck after fuser rollers and before exit rollers it will be stuck on the switch best bet is to dismantle properly and remove fuser then dismantle fuser and remove jam, another thing to be concerned about is why did it, three seneraros, Damp paper going threw fuser dries and crincles(use fresh paper from sealed packet), fuser is worn(have fuser replaced), just a bad bit of paper (just have fuser jam removed.
