Question about Toshiba Satellite 1405-S151 Notebook
Hi there my name is david.........i have a problem with my pc..the problem is that i went to control panel then add or remove programs and i removed a program by accident and the computer shot down as if it was going to restart comp.and now when i press the power button the windos xp screen comes up normal as if it was going to send me to the blue welcome creen but it only blinks for a second then it goes back to the same as if i just turn it on but never takes me to the blue welcome screen where you do your password to acces to your own computer.if somebody can give me some tips..thank you very much!!!
Restart the PC and hit F8, you will get a sub menu, select safe mode and perform a system restore and take the computer back to before you uninstalled the program. there will be a window to that effect if you are using XP or Vista
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!

You need to reboot the notebook and press the F8 key when you see the windows logo. Select the last know good configuration and allow the system to boot. If this does not fix your problem. I would suggest to reload XP. Do you have your OS cd. You an do a refresh on Windows XP without lossing any data. The menu will tell what to do.
I hope this help, please rate and post results.
