Gas tank on a 2001 Camry with loose filler tube

We just bought a used car and when we filled it with gas for the first time realized the gas tank has probably been replaced. The filler tube is loose on the inside of the gas lid.Is this normal for a replaced tank?I assume the tank has bands holding it up so I'm hopeing this is not a problem.Thanks...jeri

It is secured to the body with bolts, and no there is no seal.
Other connections are to the flexible rubber filler hose and a smaller flexible rubber vent hose, that are affixed with hose clamps.

How do I adjust the water flow in a caroma toilet?

Over time the toilet fillers clog up it is common to replace the fillers Home Depot has many to choose most all will work. Their is not an adjustment. Just remember the new one needs to be adjusted for height for the water to fill it. This is done by turning the tube before you tighten it. They have good directions. Good luck

Loosing water from insulated crane toilet tank

The fill tube may have a crack in it. I am referring to the plastic tube where the water runs in from a small rubber tube connected to the fill valve to refill the bowl after you flush it also serves as an overflow tube in case the water level gets too high. a crack will allow water from the tank to run into the bowl bypassing the flapper. checks this and replace if necessary. hope this helps.

Water spits out of toilet bowl when toilet is flushed

If your referring to the tank, take the lid off and make sure the small tube is connected from the filler valve to the top of the overflow tube. If that's connected properly, flush the toilet with the tank top off and locate the source of the spray. A small crack in the fill valve can cause a significant spray.

The fix for this issue is the water flow tube most likely came out and is running into the tank instead of the overflow tube. Here's a picture of what it should look like. The tube must come out during shipping. Once I put the tube back in no issues with splashing! And until I figured this out I was about to return it to Lowes!

BRand new elongated Cimarron shoots water out of bowl durng flush

Is the fill line in the tank loose? Does it just shoot water into the tank itself? I had this issue until I realized the while fill tube is supposed to be pushed into the black cylinder/small plastic tube in the middle of the stopper assembly. After i pushed the line into the tube, the bowl would always only fill a little bit. Now it fills almost a 3rd of the way up the bowl and doesn't bubble during flushes.

Bowl will not fill.

There is usually a small tube on the top of the ballcock or the fill valve in the toilet tank. The tube should be clipped to the top of the flush valve pipe so that the water will flow into it. Should the small tube become loose and fall off of the clip, the refill water will not make it back into the bowl.
