Hello thank you for using Fixya.com..

try to check the cord of your oven connecting to your a/c if it is working properly and flowig the current..

if not i prefer to suggest you that take your oven to a technician and ask them to chabge the fuse because one of the reason why it is not working is busted of fuse....

hopefully you will follow my suggestion.

If everything works on the microwave but theres no heat, then its unlikely to be a fuse, if you got lights and motors are runing the lcd is lid, then its not a fuse problem.

it could be a defective door switch or a problem in the high voltage section

There must be a fuse on the MW control board.

Microwaves often have a fuse on the control board. If this is a unit with oven and microwave , there may also be a fuse unit connecting to the wiring harness behind the rear panel.

Give me the make and exact model number to know more.

If the problem is a fuse, or the wiring harness to the MW, then you will have no power at all on the microwave.

There could be an open fuse inside or a failed magnetron.

It does everything except heatinig up food. Model # JVM 3660 SD 001

The magnetron is not working. This open it and check to see if it has a blown fuse. Some microwave would have seperate fuse for the heating power. If fuse is good. You may be able to get a used magnetron from another microwave. Somtimes pawn shops would sell microwave for 5 or ten dollars just because it doesnt have a turnplate inside.

Everything on our microwave still works( Clock, lights, fan) except it will no longer heat anything you put in it

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube). It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron)))

Everything works except heat

Sounds like you've had a failure in the microwave portion of the unit.

Microwave not heating problems when the timer/controller board appears to function properly, are related to the following components -

1) Diode
2) Capacitor
3) Transformer
4) Magnetron

Everything works except it doesn't heat anything

no, just 1 main fuse for everything. there are temp safety devices though, and door closed safety switches. Most likely failure though is the magnatron.
