Question about Canon Digital Cameras
I have a Canon digital IXUS 970IS camera; recently, whenever i turn it ON, pink/purple images are displayed on the screen! any clues how to fix this??
Sounds like a CCD image sensor problem, not a do-it-yourself repair, but this would also definitely fall under warranty repair. The IXUS 970IS is a relatively new camera, and thus your camera should likely still be under warranty. Recommend that you contact Canon directly to arrange warranty repair. If in US or Canada, call 1-800-OK-CANON. All others, www.canon.com, select "Support" and then your Region for further info in your local area.
