Question about Nintendo Wii Console

An error has occured

As soon as u put adisc in u get ascreen with a black background saying an error has occured press the eject button and remove the disc then turn the wii console off and refer to the wii operations manual-systems setup for troubleshooting help.

Either you are using a backup in a non modded machine or if it is modded you will need to install gecko OS or similar

Well its possible that your disc is dirty which is simple to fix
  1. Spray the disc with windex
  2. use a soft cloth and wipe from the center of the disc to the edge
  3. repeat and let dry to be sure
  4. put in system and it will hopefully work

One, is the disc scratched?
Two, What Game?
Three, Try unplugging the power cord from the wall and Wii, and wait 10 minutes, and plug it back in. Should Work Like new.

I would definatly contact Nintendo customer support. It sounds like your Disc drive on the Wii is going bad. They will either fix or replace your wii, if it is still under warranty then they will do so at no cost to you.
