Can you fix an error code for my F4280 AIO?

This could be a driver problem,
try reinstalling again the device driver

here is what i have found -- follow to all instructions accordingly
although its for another model, these isntructions apply according t their techsupport i spoke with


.Power off the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.
Did the error message return?

Yes: Continue to step 2.
No: Attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.

Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.
Did the error message return?

Yes: Continue to Contacting Lexmark.
No: Continue to step 3.

No: Repeat step 3 and install the black/photo cartridge. If both cartridges are installed, attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.

Will not fax says Error #1203


Good day! Error 1203 means that there is a communication failure between one of the cartridges and the pritner. Try these procedures to help you resolve the problem. 1. Power off
the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds, then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on. If no go, 2. Power off the AIO
and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, gently move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove
both cartridges from the AIO. Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the All-In-One (AIO) on. If the error pops up, there is a hardware problem with the
printer. 3. Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, gently move the cartridge carrier to
the middle of the unit. Insert the color cartridge. Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on. If the error still pops up, continue cleaning or
replace the cartridge. If no error, 4. Do step #3 again for the black cartridge. If error pops up, continue cleaning or replace black cartridge. If no error, print a test page.

The 2200 error message indicates a scanner stall or jam. The steps below will help you to resolve the issue and clear the error message.
Printer Reset

Step Action 1
Power off the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.
Did the error message return?
Yes: Continue to step 2.
No: Attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved. 2

Error code 1- 2036


I fixed my error code 1-2036 by going to the "Configure Settings" in the AiO Home Center then selected AiO Printer changed to "Print Quality" to Draft and clicked OK.... Then I was able to Scan with no errors. I think the config settings were corrupted some how and this resaved them properly.

Double Click on Printers and Other Hardware
Double Click on Scanners and Cameras
Double Click on Kodak 5100 AiO
Click Next
Read and follow directions
if both the solutions doesnt help... its time to call kodak

Error 2200


Error 2200 is a scanner stall error.. there are a couple things for you to try to fix it:

Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover of the AIO.
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE DID NOT COME BACK....
Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the top cover of the AIO.
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
INSERT THE COLOR CARTRIDGE ONLY,
Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on the AIO.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE RETURNS.. GET A DIFFERENT COLOR CARTRIDGE AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS....
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE IS GONE,
Power down as before, do all the same to get the carrier to the middle of the unit and RE-INSTALL THE BLACK CARTRIDGE.
Power back up as in previous steps...
NO ERROR? SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO..
ERROR?? TRY DIFFERENT BLACK
If after trying all of the above and the error message does not go away, you unit would need serviced (if it's under warranty, it's worth it; if not, you might want to replace it.)
