Minolta CF1501 color is blurry, black and white is fine

I have a Konica Minolta CF1501, the black and white is fine, but when it prints color it is blurry, I just replaced all of the imaging units. But, I need to replace the oil supply unit soon. Could it be doing this because of the oil supply unit?

You need to clean the LED's. I had the same problem. If your greens look more like yellow then this is the fix. They have an LED cleaning rod but I have yet to find someone to sell me one. So I made a jig. A cotton swab on a rod. You have to pull out each imaging unit to access the long black bar that needs to be cleaned. Doesn't take much more than a single swipe. The images started coming out like the day I bought it.

Hope this helps.

Konica Minolta 1690MF causing Fuser Paper Jam error when printing color. Does NOT happen when printing black and white. (Paper is genuinely stuck entering the fuser). Why is the problem happening for...

I was wondering if the original poster of this problem found a solution. My printer does the EXACT same thing. B & W printing is perfect. Any color print jams in the fuser. The printer feeds the paper too far (from thin copy paper to cardstock) so that the top of the page is cut off. Konica sent me a new fuser but that did not solve the problem. Again, this only happens when printing any page that has color on it (even a document with only one letter in color). B&W printing is unaffected.

What driver are you using? The only reason I have seen when these machines do not print in color is if you are using a PCL6 driver which is black and white only. Be sure you are using the PCL5c driver if you want to print in color.

Abnormally high toner density detected Black ATDC (auto toner density control circuit)

Replace black IU, check toner motors, make sure toner is loose not clumpy. Change dev reset toner level.

Background Color

1) In the Applications Menu on your copy screen there should be a option to turn on or off a background color fill. Turn it off and try. If it still comes out try hitting panel reset. If this doesnt work. 2) You have a bad Image Unit. Change the yellow image unit. 3) You may also have a bad write unit. Pull out the four write units and check the yellow write unit. It may have gone bad in which case it needs to be replaced.
