Question about Canon iP4500 Photo Printer
Most possibly the nozzles are a bit clogged up. Some people have suggested cleaning with alcohol but I find it does not work most times. Try unclogging them as follows. Filled a stainless steel plate or container with water to about 1 inch layer. Put over a gas stove and lit a very small fire. The idea is to let the water warm up but not to boiling. Dip the nozzles into the water but not touching the metal plate. You will notice that ink will start flowing out of the noozle. Wipe and repeat dipping a few times. Do not let the water get too hot to prevent damage to the nozzles or the printed contacts and ribbon or burning yourself. I managed to unclogged the completely blocked noozles of the main black cartridge and it then printed without any problem.
