Question about MSI K8N Neo4/SLI Motherboard
Computer worked up until yesterday. upon powering up it gives me 1 long beep then 2 short beeps. and does not POST whats causing it. I have the K8N Neo4 SLI Platinum board with an AMD 2400+ (2.0Ghz) and compatible ram from OCZ DDR400, I'd check the manual but its long been lost.
One Long and Two Short Beeps = Video (Mono/CGA Display Circuitry) issue.
If you are using a PCI Express graphics card remove it and use the on-board VGA/DVI port
If it is the on-board graphics you are using clear the cmos
<<<<< you will see in the picture a plastic jumper (in this case coloured green), move it to the other position and hit the on/off button, then put it back in its original position and power up the machine again. Hopefully the issue will have been sorted.
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!
