Clicks and lines while shutting off new Sony TV

This is a new 27" Sony TV (KV 27S66). I have never owned a Sony TV before.
So, I am curious whether the clicks and delays are normal behaviour of a
Sony TV.

After switching on there is quite a click sound (louder than other TVs),
some sort of resonance sound (vibrating sound similar to new Imac monitors)
and there is atleast 7 second delay before picture appears.

While turning off the picture disappears first, then a click and
simulaneously parallel greenish blue lines appear for a moment before the
screen blanks.

Appreciate comments on the above.
