Possibly it did damage it, but it is more likely that something else has become lodged in there again. happens alot on front loaders.

Take note if the drain pump is operating. If it stops halfway, it must be stopping for a problem that has arisn, Normally, the water is not being pumped out.

Will not drain pumps little water

Hello, remove the lower front panel....screws to remove are #19 and the panel #18 will drop down a bit and forward to come off.
frontloadfrigpanal1.jpg
sometimes coins, zippers, lint, bra under wires will get caught/jammed in the drain pump assembly and stop it from running/working.The hoses can be removed from the pump to check for any foreign objects or the
pump (the part where the pink and white wires are) can be totally removed by unclipping the wire harness and removing the two "5/6" bolts to check the pump assembly itself,The pump can be taken apart to check inside....if needed. The pump assembly is in the front right corner......

Gets an e10 code after just a few minutes after start. water pressure is good and the machine is level

this is a general error code usually indicated a block drain pump.
If you still have water in the tub you can use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose and remove all the water.

Once you have removed all the water then ou need to remove the hose that runs from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump remove the plastic coin trap and clean out and foreign material.

you have to remove the lid first then take the main control panel off then remove the front panel, dont forget to take the rubber boot off the front panel.once this is removed you will see the drain pump lower right side of the tub.

Front load waher will not drain

Hi, your washer water pump, could be burnt out, or clogged up, but first check drain hose for kink, remove back of machine, locate water pump, device that your drain hose are connected to, remove all hoses, pump from washer, and clean, sometimes foreign objects get into it, and prevent pump impeller from spinning, also check water pump winding (coil) with ohm tester, place tester lead, one on each terminal on pump (motor) if you hear beep sound, pump motor o/k, if not, pump burnt out, replace it, but first remove pump, and clean it. after cleaning replace pump, try machine. you could put drain hose, close to floor, into buck, and water will empty by gravity, if water is not emptying, that's evidence your water pump is block, small object (handkerchief, coins etc.) gets into them, from time to time, first clean your water pump, `and check for kink, in drain hoses. . always disconnect power, before attempting any repairs. good luck.

Washer won't drain and is making a grinding sound

That grinding noise could be something caught in your drain pump.  The fact that it doesn't drain could be that something has lodged in the pump and either stopped the impeller from turning, or has ruined the pump.  This is actually a common problem with the small front load washers.  If you remove the lower panel just under the door the drain pump will located in the front on the right hand side.  You will need to remove the inlet hose from the pump.  This is the hose that runs from the tub to the pump.  Unplug the washer first, and drain any residual water from the tub by using a wet/dry shop vac and attaching it to the drain hose at the standpipe.  If you can manage to pull the water from the washer in this manner, you will avoid a huge mess later.  There's roughly 7 gallons of water in the tub when it is full.  I don't think you would want this much water gushing all over your floor.  With the drain line removed inspect the impeller of the pump for obstructions.  The most common culprit is coins, drill bits, screws and nails.  Even tooth picks and cotton swabs can stop the drain pump if they become lodged.  If you find the pump clogged and manage to clear it, you still may have to replace, however.  Just keep that in mind.  The pumps are usually pretty durable, but depending on how long it's been in it's current condition, it may have ruined the pump motor and/or impeller.  I hope you find this information helpful.  Good luck to you and post back with comments if you have any further questions.

Whirlpool front loading washer

The 02 error code relates to a drain problem. Check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Regarding the spinning noises and vibration, open washer's rear panel and look for a released or a malfunction shock absorber. Good luck!
