Hotpoint bd32 oven and top oven/grill what output does this have .and does it need 6mm cable connection or can it go on a plug

Hi.
You most definitely need a 6mm hard wired supply cable to cooker, anything less, and the cable will overheat .
Under no circumstances connect it to a 13 amp suupply and plug.
The total kw output can reach in excess of 4-5 kw, so it is imperative that you hard wire it to a seperate fused supply.

Wife ran for 14 min w/out anything in it changed fuse no luck

You need to change the cavity thermostat. The unit got too hot and blew the cavity thermostat. If this is a vent-a-hood model, it will be up under the vent housing at the top (must drop microwave to change) and if built-in, it will be on the left side under the outer cover. Just remove the screws from the back and sides and right along the edge along the bottom sides. Will have 2 wires going to it from each side. Just replace thermostat and reattach molex plugs. Then retest. Should be fine after that.

BRAVETTI CONVECTION OVEN MODEL K5345H

open by unscrewing screws on back and along left side bottom. this lets you swing up the cabinet showing the electrics. the red power line going to the timer is held in place by a metal wire holder that is riveted to the base. wire has a white sleeve between its insulation and the metal wire holder. slide wire and sleeve out to the side of the holder. slide sleeve to side along wire, revealing fuse. need a solder iron and an electronic parts store to get replacement fuse and solder it in. reassemble.

the fuse is a resistor that blows when unit is getting hot. use lower resistance fuse or just hardwire the power line straight through, no fuse, but watch for overheating (not likely) and maybe use breaker outlet

Changing the fuse in microwave hotpoint mosel JES636WKo1

This model seems to have a fuse in a cylindrical white nylon fuse holder, probably located near the right rear.

It will also have a thermostat on the magnetron which may be out.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here or here.

Delonghi

Changing bulb in DeLonghi ED 8525S-SBD
This is merely an account of how I fixed mine - do this at your own risk. The oven is full of high-voltage items which include large capacitors which are not discharged when you unplug it from the mains. You can still get a life-threatening shock from the charge which is stored in these components.
Therefore do not touch ANYTHING electrical except the bulb connectors.
1. Unplug the oven and place on a suitable surface 2. Remove the cover. This is held by five screws at the back of the of the machine. Three are along the top and are philips type and the other two are on the bottom left and bottom right corners and are star-grip. The cover must slide backwards first before coming off. 3. Find the bulb holder. It is located on the right of the oven as you look at it from the front. Turn the oven so that its right side faces you. The bulb holder is an oval black part with two electrical connections coming off it. It is about 6-7 cm long and 3 cm wide. It is mid way in the oven (from top to bottom) and a little towards the front. It is held to the oven frame with two bent metal prongs 4. Remove the electrical connectors by sliding them backwards. 5. Bend back the prongs and lift out the bulb holder. 6. The bulb in a 20W 240V oven lamp with a standard oven lamp screw-on fitting. 7. Replace the bulb. 8. Put the bulb holder back in place, bend the prongs back to secure it, re-connect the electricals. 9. Replace the cover and screws.
