Question about 4D AOpen O-35G Optical Wheel Mouse PS/2

Aopen 0-35G Optical 5 button Mouse

Does anyone know if this mouse is compatible with Vista Premium Home.

I've got it to work but have no control over the button configs. Vista sees it as a two button human interface device.

Any advise would be a start. I'm sure there is a work around on this.

I just started using this old mouse that I had & I have Vista 32bit. By default only the 2 buttons would work but I did install the R3.32 drivers and now everything is working including both scrolls. Worked even though they are XP drivers. Hopfully they will work with your Vista version. Reboot required.

You need a VISTA device driver installed for your mouse to work properly on vista.

Unfortunately 98 SE,Win 98,2000,Me, and Windows Xp only, are supported by the manufacturer. It is a 32-Bit program.

Vista is a 64-Bit O/S and the software is not compatible.

Most manufacturers arent re-writing 64bit code for older hardware because they have already made their money on the product, and it is not cost efficient for them.

A new mouse is in your future. There is no work-around for your problem.

My Dynex wireless mouse doesn't work? am I supposed to install any drivers? Im using Hp laptop dv4-1435dx with vista home premium

There is a Dynex software suite that comes on a disk with the mouse -- this suite provides the mouse's driver as well as additional functionality such as changing button properties. You can download the driver from DynexProducts.com (be sure to get the right one for your specific mouse and operating system).

Hello,

I have the same problem in Vista, I found a true and working solution apart of droping the mouse to the trash, ok, go to... http://www.a4tech.com/ go to the english version if you dont speak chinese, then find the driver for the mouse model ***-49Z, and there is the solution, GE isnt the builder of this mouse.

Targus RF PAUM005 Mouse Not Working

do you have the CD that came with the hardware???
seems like the PC can't communicate with the hardware. although it see something out there, but it doesn't recognize what it is.
even the machine is says this device is working porperly, you still need to install the driver, and the configuration for the device. that's why the receiver doesn't flash.
try to install the drivers and the configuration application.

It should work on Vista 32-bit. It says explicitly in the manual that it WILL NOT work with 64-bit Vista. I think you're out of luck, dude.
