Question about ASUS M2V Motherboard
Hallo I need to find a driver that will make my ethernet connection work. The connection is part of the motherboard.
The connection it self has written on it G Tech P35-153-11Z9 and the type of motherboard it is connected to is a ASUS A8000-D0440-A2L1410-8H118784B.
I have recently switched from a modem which use to be connected via USB to one that requires a ethernet connection. The card is there, but the computer is not detecting it and therefore I presume I need a driver to get things going. the computer was bought 4 years ago and I don't have the CD anymore which came with the computer.
Any help in where I can find a driver to download that will work would be highly appreciated
Open up device manager> double click on the unknown device> go to
the details tab> in the drop down choose hardware id> google the
alpha numeric code on the first row before the & symbol (ex-
That will give you the make of the ethernet adapter you have on the pc. Once you have it installed you can patch up the wireless as it works on the network adaptor base which generates the ip address.
Hit me again if this dosent do the trick.
