Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t 14.1" Notebook Laptop PC (Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, D... PC Notebook
Check the HP website. I have a dv2221us and they gave me a free out of warranty repair becasue they have had problems with the motherboard overheating.and messing up other functions. Also they are having bad problems with the power cord which mimics computer problems rather than power problems. Not finding the wireless network is one of the problems listed. There is a list of models and problems on the website that your model may fit into, Hurry up becsue I am not sure how long the free repair works. If you still can, purchse an extened warranty on this machine as there are known probelsm. Since I got my new motherboard, I have not had anymore problems since i repalced the part of the cord connecting to the laptop which was messed up. The blue ring by the cord was not fully light up. Now she works great. Does your laptop get really hot on your lap? Mine used to burn my leg it was so hot. It is very cool now.
If you can't find the site, let me know. Also you can type your model number and the problem in a search engine and yru problem may show up online in another forum.
