if ink cartridge already replaced, try to clean up pins for possible dust or waste ink. if ink cartridge refill you need reseter to reset counter from empty to full.
You say you replaced the cartridge with the original. Was that a new one or the old one? If it was the old one it may be empty, Also what error message are you getting. If the cartridgs is new make sure it is the correct one and that it is snapped in the whole way.
I had the same problem. It was solved once I bought an original color cartridge. Refilled cartridge seems not to work on this printer. Glad if it might help.
You can know it just by using pin or something like this, insertinginto a hole on the cartridge, when you pull the pin off you can noticewhat color is on the pin. You may use tissue to see what color is onthe pin :)
