JVC GZ-MG555U Camcorder - Error A0000006

Hello--I am trying to create a DVD with my new camcorder directly from the camcorder to a Disc. It imports successfully, but then during the "authoring" stage, it errors out with an "A0000006" error. I can't find out what this error means anywhere.

I'm pretty savvy with creating DVD's, as I use Pinnacle all the time. I know I can use Pinnacle as it's better and more advanced, however, I'd like to make use of this quick create DVD software which was included in my JVC package, so I don't have to fool around with all the video clips in Pinnacle. It would be nice to use the "One Touch" DVD creator.

Any suggestions on what this error is and how I can get past it? I can't find any patches that need updating. The software that came with this model is Cyberlink DVD Solution, which uses PowerCinema NE for Everio (2006). Looking for some expert advice.

Thanks. burning failed from power director 7. any help?

    I have the identical issue, and I am using Cyberlink PowerDirector to make a DVD. The fault occurs after the transcoding of the video for the DVD but prior to the actual write process of the DVD. The full fault follows:

    Burning Failed

    PowerProducer has failed to complete the task(s) because:

    Possible cause(s):
    Muxer gets incorrect bit rate.(A0000006)

    I am running Windows 7, and I have been able to perform successful DVD burns with Pinnacle & Ulead software.

    This appears to be a memory error.. Can you type the entire message exactly as it appears on the screen in your reply?

    Thanks

SOURCE: "No Everio connected to PC"

Under Windows XP, be sure you have upgraded to SP3. Then with the camera connected and Backup selected go into device manager t5hen disk drive. Find the drive, mine had two, uninstall them. Then turn off camera. Restart camera and select backup on the camera screen and let windows reinstall it. Should work fine. It did for me anyway.

I had the same problem. Just install nero (7), create a dvd-video and import the files via nero to a folder.
It worked for me.
