    Makes clicking noises from scanner and wont print. Scanner can't find its neurtral position on the right side.

  • Anonymous Mar 03, 2009

    I curently have the exact same problem it is in the scanner light carriage not the printer cartridge carriage I have experienced several times before and power down and wait until the unit wants to work again very seldom does this occur however only when you have an immediate need for its use.

    AUUGGGHHHH!!!!! Stupid Thing!
    I too have the same problem... and the print cartridge is all the way to the right... I think it also has to do with the scanner bulb in some way. (Which I don't need to print!)

The carraige is moved by a toothed rubber belt and plastic gears. Unplug the machine, open the front cover, and manually relocate the print carraige to the far right. Close the cover and plug machine back in. Hope this helps.

Looks like a faulty gear mechanism in your scanner. It is not able to return to the home position. You could try a hard reset: Unplug from power source and PC, wait about 5 minutes and try again. If the issue recurs, then you will need to take it in for servicing..

My Kenmore he front load washer stopped at the rinse and spin cycle. I don't know the model but it only a few years old. It made a load noise before stopping. I attempted to get it going again wit

Kenmore front loader. stopped at rinse. First ck to see if you washer works at different settings if so its very possible its your timmer or what called the wig wag or solonoid this switches the machine to spin & rinse. A basic service call should resolve your problem.

Epson SX100 Scanner makes a loud clicking noise!

On the back of the Epson Perfection 1660 Photo there is a lever that shows a lock and a unlock by where you plug in the wire to the computer. It must be in the unlocked position otherwise it will make that loud clicking noise and not work. Hope this helps.

You may have an issue with one or more of the following:

* icemaker
* dispenser actuator
* ice chute door assembly
* ice dispenser solenoid (if the solenoid is stuck in an open position, the ice chute door/flap would remain open allowing cold air to escape).

Contact an appliance service company.

Coil is freezing, stops cooling, no water at despencer. turn timer knob manualy and it does shut off and back on again. defrost timer or heater?

depends on the brand, most likely the defrost thermostat.
heaters rarely go bad, timers usually will not advance causing the coil to frost over.
if you turn the timer to the "defrost" position and wait for 20 minutes. after a couple of minutes it should have the heater get hot and then frost should drip onto the heater and make a "hissing" or "sizzling" sound. if it does make these sound, then replace the timer.

After clossing door properly and inserting coins starting the machine by pressing start switch machine timmer, water valves drain pump every part is working except motor it remains idal while it is new....

If the motor is making a loud humming noise, look for (and replace) a 'start' capacitor which should be mounted on the motor or nearby. If it makes no noise at all, then it is not receiving power from the machine. Look for a defective relay or possibly the control unit itself. A less likely problem might be a broken wire wherever there is movement or vibration. Make sure that the motor can be turned by hand when the power is off. Hope this helps!

LG 47" LCD TV - 47LC7DF Clicking Noise

I was told that these clicking noises (which happen on my Magnavox LCD too) were due to the "power required" at the internal switch. Seems that the power required to immediately turn on the TV is too much for a standalone household outlet, so it "surges" power in a series to get enough there. Hence, the clicking sounds are actually mini power surges to send more power to the internal circuits to turn the TV on.

If your set is like mine, these noises generally stop after a minute or two, correct?
