Question about ViewSonic (CW2206) Keyboard

1 Answer

KEYBOARD TIMESOUT I have no clue why this happens but, most time when I get up from my chair to do something in another part of the building my keyboard cuts off. It does not matter if I'm gone for 2min. or ten. Yet I can be in my seat and not touching the key board for a half hour and it will still be working fine.To get my keyboard to work again I have to replug it intio the usb port. My key board is a view sonic. I have checked power shut down settings. Thanks for any help.

You may have dying power supply or bad solder joints that go bad when heated up.
See example here:

You need to check the caps, voltages before and after the problem occurs.

If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:

I recently bought an electric massage chair for our home office, and just discovered that I do not have the first clue on how to properly clean and maintain the chair. Can anyone help me?

As for the upholstery, is your chair is leather, there are some simple things you can do to maintain your new massage chair. You should clean your chair using a moist cloth and gentle moisturizing hand soap. You can also use a duster to dust the chair once or twice a week.

Should I build my own kneeling chair?

I don't recommend that you build your own kneeling chairunless you are very experienced in building things with exactmeasurements. Unless that chair is buildexactly to the proper specifications, it can do more harm than good. If you are up for the challenge, check outthese instructions on how to make a DIY kneeling chair:

Model 758743300c no humidy

'No Humidity'-- sounds like the humidifier is NOT adding moisture to the room it is running in?

Can you give us some clues?--
Like-- How is the pad look inside?
Are the fan(s) running?
are there any indicator lights lit?
Did it work for awhile, and stop?
What stopped first?-- the fans, or the little rotating wheel?
any clues that happened at the time it quite?
When was the last time the unit was opened up and cleaned out?
These devices need regular maintenance-- they build up mold and scale.

Please give us some clues to work with--

Chair stuck in upright position, will not go down but the back of the chair moves backwards and forwards

Hard to say definitively without know the make and model of your particular chair but if your chair is anything like mine the same lever underneath it that makes the chair go up and down will also fix this: the lever can slide left and right as well as being flipped up and down. That's what always fixes it when it happens to my chair anyway.

Adesso AKB-430UG touchpad problem

It is common if you have a static charge for the cursor to flick all over the screen as the static build up causes a malfunction with the screen. If you have nylon carpets or fabric on your chairs which builds a static charge this will make things worse. Try using the screen on a wooden table where there is a wooden floor and sit on a wooden chair. Before you do anything touch your hands onto something nearby and hold them there for a few seconds to get rid of the static charge. Then turn the power on to the screen while holding on to it. If it all works OK then you can be sure it was a static build up. Then try walking away for a minute or two and then try it again. If the cursor flicks all over the screen, you have got a static build up on your body. This is surprisingly common with laptops or similar devices when people use them on their laps while sitting on couches.
