Question about Epson ELPLP09 Projector Lamp for PowerLite 5350, 7250, 735
I have an Epson Powerlite 5350. I want to know how to reset the lamp timer. There is a "reset all" option, but that DOES NOT reset the lamp timer. Nothing in the manual says how to do it, nothing on the EPson website says how to do it. I just want to know how to do it.
5350:reset the lamp timer
1,While simultaneously holding down MENU and Help on the control panel
2,While simultaneously holding down MENU and UP on the control panel
Have a nice day!

SOURCE: Projector Lamp is flashing Red
if you know how to open the unit, try fixing its ventilation. flashing bulb light sometimes mean an occurance of overheating. try to clean all the fans and the air vent.

as far as I know there isn't any vista compatible software to download.
try reinstalling the drivers or If you find out what software is needed you could emulate it but that can be trickey and eats up loads of ram
as long as your new laptop isn't a dell you should be able to easely back-up your data, partition your hard drive and install xp on a partitio.
If you have a hp depending on the model you could even switch between os without turning off the computer.

epson will not sell parts to anyone who is not an authorized service center. sorry. if you can get the part from an asc, then you can replace it.
