Re: phone keeps getting frozen or stuck then screen goes...
This has happened to me as well. Have you dropped your phone recently or has some water got into it perhaps?? Mine was having lots of problems like this...becoming frozen and not sending messages properly...I took it into Nokia and they had a look at it. Couldn't find the problem, but they gave me a new one. Problem solved. It works all peachy!! I suggest you go into a Nokia dealer, tell them the problems (don't tell them if you've done any damage to it) and ask them to have a look at it for you, particularly if it is still under warranty. If you go into your provider, Telstra, Optus, Virgin etc sometimes they may give you a replacement phone in the meantime if you don't have anything to use while it's getting fixed. Sometimes it can take up to a week or two. Hope that helps :)

I had this problem with a android phone myself unfortunately you may have to get another one. but try this out. hold down the up volume and power but until the phone shuts off, that should put the phone in super user mode. once it goes in reset mode ( you'll know because there will be a little android on the screen. Then just power off by holding down the power button again and let the phone come back on.

i did learn that to reset one of these touch phones all you have to do is take out the batt and press the power button 3 times in a row put the batt back in and turn it on. This is the fix to any freezing you might have.
It is not the battery that is the problem it is the v-chip under the battery.
Remove and reinsert with phone off.
Turn back on and phone should be reset.
My wifes phone freezes like this from time to time and this is what works on her blackberry.
time & date Your phone needs the time and date for the datebook. To synchronize the time and date with the network: Press - > Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > Autoupdate > On To set the time and date: Press - > Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > time or date. To choose an analog or digital clock for your home screen, press - > Settings > Personalize > Home Screen > Clock > Analog or Digital.
sounds like you got a real prob.
try a different batt if it still does the same then I would be looking for the shop reciept and seeing if it was still under warranty because those are classic symptoms of liquid damage.
