Press windows key and r key simultaneously to open the run box

Now type devmgmt.msc and click ok

This will open device manager.

Click + sign beside the Keyboard entry.

This will show up a list of entries for keyboard

However, if there is only one or number of entries ignore and right click on the entries and select uninstall.

This will unistall the drivers. Confirm to uninstall the drivers.

Restart the computer. The drivers are automatically installed from the Operating System. Do not worry about the drivers. I am sure, the drivers are installed automatically from the Operating System.

However, if the issue is still there, then reset the BIOS to default settings.

Press F10 key or F2 key to enter into the BIOS page.

In this, find out the option to restore all the settings to default.

This will fix the problem. However, if the issue is still there, then the issue is with Hardware. This means the Keyboard should be changed or you may try to update the BIOS by contacting the Computer manufacturer.

It wont give the answer to the square root of 76 :S

Maybe your syntax is incorrect. But more likely, it gives the right answer but you do not recognize.
Look on the narrow indicator band on top of the screen. If there is a Math indicator you are in MthIO (textbook display). In this mode results are in the form of radicals
SQRT(76) =2*SQRT(19) Here SQRT represents the radical (square root symbol).

If there is no Math indicator, your calculator is in LineIO and all results are in decimal form so that SQRT(76) =8.717797887

To set MthIO press [SHIFT][MODE][1:MthIO]
To set LineIO press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO]
To toggle between radicals/fractions to decimal press [S<=>D] key above the [DEL] key.

I cannot get my lap top to show on the all with my projector

Laptop will often have a function key (usually F5) for cycling between built-in display, external monitor, and both. Try pressing F5. If that doesn't work and you have a "Fn" key (usually near the left Shift key) hold down Fn and press F5.

The Fn botton on my vio lap top won't work

The Fn button is like a 'shift' key. Just as you would press <Shift> and a letter to get a capitalized letter, you press <Fn> and a function key at the same time ( <Fn><F1> or <Fn><F2> and so on) to use the secondary function for that key. For example, on one of my laptops, the <F2> key has an icon for 'wireless' (looks like an antenna). If I simply press <F2>, I will activate the function for <F2>, but if I press <Fn> and <F2> at the same time, I will turn on my wiress adapter.

<Fn> all by itself does nothing.

Hope this helps.
