Question about Motorola Mobility H710 Bluetooth Headset

Problem with my H710 Bluetooth

I have the LG ENV2 and I just purchased the bluetooth yesterday. After charging for two hours, I tried unsuccessfully to this to work. My phone found the device and I enter the passkey and that's about it. It never stays connected and when I close the boom and reopen the indicator like blinks red and goes to blue and never sync back to the phone. I am thinking about taking it back, but if anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get to work I will greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
KB

Same with me.... I was all pumped up to have a wireless device for all the driving I do. And then the first call I made the thing disconnected and hung up. What a tease! Like the other guy said, it connected for about five seconds and then disconnects, then connects and so on and so forth. Is it the phone? Is it a broken headset?

Possible solution:

I was having the same problem so I charged and discharged it three times. Also the first time I tried to pair mine I was in a room with another phone turned on and it was like the headset was looking for the other one at the same time.

To put your headset again in pairing mode, you must assure that your phone's bluetooth radio is turned off. Only then, open your headset's boom. After it is in pairing mode, turn your phone's bluetooth radio on, and make it search for new devices.
Hope it works for you.

Will a Motorola H710 Universal Bluetooth Headset work with a LG Scoop/UX-260? For now my answer seems to be no. :(

as long as your LG has bluetooth the anser is yes. Hold all three buttons down for 10 sec. It will go blue. you can now pair the devices. Just make sure to check the setting in the phone and make sure the bluetooth is set to discovery.

Trying to pair my new H710 Motorola headset with my LG shine AT&T cell phone. Doing everything right and just not working

Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device. Close the headset. Go to thephone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized. After this, it will ask for a passcode.

Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.

The passkey will be 0000, four zeros.

LG enV2 sync to Plantronics bluetooth

Make sure you put the bluetooth in discovery mode, otherwise the phone wont be able to find it. I have a plantronics bluetooth and my env2 works just fine with it. Good luck.
