Canon ip1000 not printing even after replacing a new ink catridge
I didn't use my canon ip 1000 for a few months. after that when i tried, it won't print black. i tried nozzle cleaning ( it showed only blue and yellow bars) . i changed the ink catridge (both colour & black) with a new one. but this time the printer won't print. i tried cleaning, deep cleaning. then i removed the printer head and put it in hot water (as told) for half an hour. again i tried cleaning a couple of times before trying to print, but still the printer won't print........what could be the problem.....is it repairable or i have to buy a new one?..........help me please

..it's cleaning time, a simple if messy operation. You will have to clean the print head and the waste ink pads, and whilst there might as well clean all the other gunk as well..
..so how to do this ?
..power on, open front, let carrier slide to middle front, pull power cable, pull computer cable.
..by hand slide carrier to left to below the grooves in the upper case front. Clip the grey print head retainer, it pivots to the printer back, it must go up in the grooves, then remove print head, it comes forward..
