Question about Polaroid FLM-4234BH 42 in. LCD HDTV
I have a polaroid flm4234bh, had a tv man out said it was a bad contorl box which is NLA. if i hit the top of the tv picture come back ok. does that sound like the control box and if it is can it be taken apart and repaired. if yes where can i get the schmatics fir it.
As far as I know the schematics are not available outside of authorized service centers. Since giving the set a whack appears to "fix" it, it suggests that there is a bad connection somewhere. I would look for poor solder connections. Resolder any that appear to be grainy or have cracks.
