Transcend does not have any service center in India!!!! They do all
their warranty related work through their distributors. You need to
contact their distributor in direct way.For distributors click on the

The service number depends on the country where you live. We would not want you to run an astronomical phone bill, would we? Do a Google search for the TRANSCEND web site, look for TO CONTACT US. and you will be given contact information.
Sir, I had purchased transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 Player 03 years back. But for few months it was not functioning properly.. The main problem is that device is not recognizing in PC but the charging is happening... I hope the warranty period of this device is 5 years .... but I have lost my bill. Where it can be repaired ? i have problem with my T.sonic 610 1GB Mp3 player. after storing the files the player is not able to read the files. it simply shows ***no files***. the fm player is working normally. even after pressin the reset there is no use.I Press power on button again & again ON/OFF please tell me how to deal with this. when you purchased the t sonic mp3 player 610 box pack at that time or in that box one CD is there. put that CD in CD ROM and install recovery. then in recovery or where the recovery is install go there and select firmware update, when we update the firmware virsion at that time the data will be loss.during the update don't disconnect the drive.
I had the same problem. I had formatted the player's drive using Windows explorer and the got this error: "File Format error" while trying to play any mp3 file.
I went to the command prompt. Deleted all files:
E:\> del *
Then I copied the MP3 files again in the T.sonic MP3 player. All MP3 files played fine after this.
T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to http://www.transcendusa.com/ and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.
