I have a Franke double bowl deep drop-in sink that I have already replaced once. The problem is that the bowls do not stay in the frame. One rise us up out of the frame with a sharp edge. What is going...

Assuming your table is level and even, is the bowl itself even also. Check it for even thickness throughout the whole edge that sits on the table top. If that is even also, then you may have to cut part of the table that the bowl sits in so that it will allow the entire sink to sit flat.

We bought a Franke top mount sink and go system from Lowes. It is being installed in a standard formica countertop. The clips that came with the unit will not stay on for anything when you attempt to...

Is the Foot print of the replacement maybe sink smaller than the foot print of the orginal sink that was replaced? It sounds like it is. Make the hole smaller by cutting a plywood strip to be placed on two sides of the sink hole. Long side at back of sink and short side. (plywood needs to be marine type because of the high mosture of the sink area and painted)
I went to their web site; they have posted a buyer beware notice of bad contractors. They may be able to help.

Recently bought ex-display bathroom sink /unit.discovered cracks to underside of sink.can you recommend a repair solution?

I have to presume the sink is made of china and there is no repairing of china. There are two kinds of cracks, hairline from some sort of impact, and shrink. While the hairline crack can be visually disappointing, if it does not extend through the drain hole area it is a safe bet that the lavatory can be installed and used normally. A shrink crack resembles the cracks of a dried up lake bed and rarely cause any problems no matter where they are located. Rarely does not mean never.

We cannot get the mounting clips to stay on

I have spent several hours trying to solve the same problem with a Franke Granite double basin sink. The clips for this Franke sink appear to be a piece of engineering garbage, and the instructions are utterly useless - A huge piece of paper with a template, and tiny pictures that look like they were drawn by a kindergartner with a crayon. The instructions for using the clips --oh there are none - other than a blurry picture in which the clips could fit inside this period (.). Lots of other people appear to have the same issue. I like the Franke sink, but without proper mounting hardware, this franke sink is no better than the poorly made clips, and the Franke Sink horrible instructions that it came with.

Fixing a franke sink

Turn sink upside down on paper/cardboard & trace around outside. . Measure from outer edge of unit to just beyond inner edge [where the clips fit] transfer this to cutout and mark/cut on this inner line. This is not your template to cut out the worktop.
Push the clips over the inner ridge on the underside until they click into place.on small cutouts make sure the worktop grips face outwards.
place into worktop cutout - most likely there will be some more worktop to trim to fit. When fitting easily, fit the seal on the underside where the sink fits into the worktop & screw up the clips until they bite into the underside of the worktop.
Not got the seal? use silicone [clear]
