Yes! And it's really delicious. Chocolate lasagna is basically a pasta that is layered with a chocolate filling and ricotta type cheese. Definitely worth trying.

Hello, Peggy -

To cook lasagna in a microwave oven, you will need to follow a recipe which is just for microwave cooking.

You can find some recipes for lasagna cooked in a microwave oven here:

Note: If you cook a traditional lasagna recipe in the microwave for 1 hr. 15 min. (even at 1/2 power), you will have a baked brick of charred lasagna.

Best wishes.

How do I cook a frozen 2 lb meat lasagna in my Jetstream oven?

I would start with a slow 250 oven for about 45 minutes. If the lasagna is thawed by then kick the oven up to 350 for another 30 to 45 minutes. Test temperature with a thermometer or knife blade to see if done.

Is there such a thing as a chocolate icing recipe? I have a sponge cake that needs something extra on the top.

Chocolate glaze icing is easy to make. Here's a recipe for a basic one http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/chocolate-glace-icing-L3717.html

Once you get the hang of it, you can start experimenting with other types of chocolate icings, butter creams etc. You can't go wrong with chocolate - it's all delicious.

Is there really such a thing as a chocolate addiction?

A lot of people, especially women would describe themselves as chocolate addicts, but it's a question as to whether they are craving chocolate or actually addicted to it.

Chocolate contains sugar and other active ingredients that create a good feeling when you eat it. This feeling of well-being can then be habit forming and leads people to crave more chocolate. It's a vicous circle for some people.

To reduce this dependency you need to look for a healthier alternative to chocolate when you are tired, miserable or in need of a boost. You may need to set yourself daily limits and try and figure out what are the root causes of your cravings.

Well what you experienced is a common thing with the chocolates. I have gotten 8 replacement chocolates, and everyone has done the same thing. There really is no hope for these, and it upsets me a little that no one can explain why they constantly have issues, and can't be fixed. Hope this isn't too late.
