Pull the drawer all the way out (pull out until you get restriction, then press on the middle, just above where it says 'MAX' for fab cond and this will allow the drawer to come out fully)
Where you press to get it out, pull this up and you will see a fixed cylinder in the drawer and a larger cylinder attached to the pivoted portion, ensure the drawer is clean of detergent and fabric conditioner residue, particularly inside the larger cylinder, use an old toothbrush (I have an old washed clean mascara brush that perfect for the small crevices etc). When you put the drawer back together the large cylinder sits over the small one and the top should clip in position via two small plastic tags.
Whilst the drawer is out, look into the machine and up into the top of the dispenser housing. On the left and right you will see several smalls hole, in the centre above where the fabric conditioner section is you will see four small square holes, this is where the water enters to dispense the conditioner, if it is particularly grubby in here use a scourer or toothbrush to give it a clean. Once it is clean you need to get a cable tie and feed it through all four square holes until you see it appear at the back of the dispenser housing, give it a little wiggle and pull it back out.
Replaced the drawer, add a small amount of conditioner to test and run on a rinse/spin or freshen up cycle- should be 18-22mins on display. Check the conditioner has been dispensed. Hopefully, this should sort it. Let me now if you need any further help.

Bosch washing machine - electronic timer goes down to 1 minute remaining and stays there. Washing liquid has been drained from drawer, however, fabric softener is still there. We have resorted to stopping...

Check if drain filter is clear and drain pump is working properly. Also remove soap conditioner tray and check if you have black residue inside the soap/conditioner dispenser. Sometimes this can prevent water from entering the conditioner tray.

There is a loud clicking sound that comes from the drawer and the paper won't pull through. MFC 8860DN

You can check if the paper guides are set properly by depressing the purple lever on the right front of the tray. The leading edge of the stack of paper should rise out of the tray. If the paper cannot rise, or rises unevenly, you need to adjust the guide on the tray. There should be between 1/16 and 1/18 of play from front to back for the stack of paper in the paper tray.
The loud click sounds alarming, but is not the problem.

Water staying in the conditioner tray. Machine works fine, washing powder goes into the machine, fabric conditioner not dispensing and water left in the tray at end of wash

You dont say which machine you have, but a lot of conditioner trays work by siphon action.

If at one end of the conditioner tray there is what looks like a closed off tube sticking up, this is the siphon. To remove it, it should just pull off. Check the tube is clean inside and out with no residues left from the conditioner. Also check the tube sticking up from the base of the conditioner tray - this should also be nice and clean, and should be clear of any obstructions. May be worth poking something like a cocktail stick down it just to make sure it's clear. Then push the closed off tube back on. The siphon action can be checked by pouring water into the conditroner tray - as the tray gets close to full the siphon action should kick in and then empy the tray.

Hope this is of some help.
