Phone memory is low that's why its getting stuck,it means, not enough memory may cause malfunction.
Solution are :
* delete unused data or files so there will be a free space on your phone memory and to be able to operate smoothly.
* Reset the phone by this procedure,go to settings > initial set-up > Master Reset or Master Clear
Master Reset - your phone settings will go back to default (no data will be deleted) Master Clear - your phone setting will fully format. (all data of yours will be deleted) and back to original settings.
before doing master clear,be sure all of your important data must be saved before doing this method.
I hope this solution will help you. thank you for visiting fixya.
The reason your phone is hanging is because the memory is almost full so i advice that that you delete files that ar no longer needed on your phone for example, pictures, videos, songs and even text messages on your phone.
This will create space for your phone to work with and it will no longer hang
There seems to be a software problem on your phone. I would suggest you to master reset it and don't forget to save your phone's data, contact etc before resetting it.
yes you can do it. Do you have the cd that came with the phone? if you do install the phone tools and get the phone connected to your pc once that is done run the app phone tools you will see a pic of a v3 on the bottom right of your desktop click on the menu button on the v3 image on your desktop highlight receive then highlight inbox then another screen will appear at the top menu bar of that screen you will see a button saying send/receive click on that and then click retrieve sms all your msgs from your phone will appear on the screen then you can highlight and right click and choose to save all your msgs on a file on the pc...if you do not have the cd that came with your phone you can download the v3 phonetools from here http://www.avforums.com/forums/attachments/motorola-mobile-phone-discussions/24503d1138897423-freebie-all-those-motorola-v3-razr-v3-usb-driver.zip
Hi, Hi-Tech people! I got a Motorola RAZR V3, my problem starts when everytime I press the keys to type a message...it HANGS. Once it HANGS, I can't type anymore and continue the message I suppose to write. It wont move no more. It just STUCK-UP right there on the last letter I'd pressed. I have to take-off the battery at the back to re-start the unit again. Then, start typing again...same thing happens. It just HANG by itself and I can't press other keys no more.
Any HELP?
MannyQ
