Try amazon. They have a 16 oz bottle for around $18.

The reviews for hi-float have been a bit mixed. Some people felt that their balloons stayed up for ages and others complained it didn't really work but it's not that expensive, so it's worth a try.

SOURCE: If I buy helium balloons for my daughters party, how long with they last?

Helium balloons are usually made of latex. A combination of that and the helium gas means that the balloons will only last around 8-16 hours so it's best to buy them as close as possible to the start of the party. Some shops have special substances that you can pay extra for that will help the balloons stay up a lot longer.

I need to 225 cubic feet of helium. How many pounds is that? Thanks!

The difference in the up and down force is 0.069 pounds. Therefore each cubic foot of helium could lift 0.069 pounds. In order to lift 100 pounds (which would include the weight of your load, the balloon, and the helium) you would need 1449 cubic feet of helium

I need to buy party hats for our kindergarten. Any suggestions of places that are not too expensive?

I like the Dollar Days site as they have a good range but have wholesale amounts or quite competitive prices.

Although their hats all seem to be themed ie Pocohontas.

Hope that helps.

What are hi-float balloons?

Hi-float balloons is basically a way to extend the life of helium balloons that would otherwise deflate in around 8-16 hours. The hi-float treatment coats the inside of the balloon and helps them to last up to 25 times longer (depending on the quality of the hi-float treatment).
