Need Printer Software

I need to reinstall my printer software into my computer. I misplaced or lost my original software. How can I purchase another software?

Lost software cd


If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:PIXMA MX700 office all in one inkjet printer

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthe file, double click on the file , then if you getintroubles,followthe instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Note:someprinterdoesnot work on Vista, if you do not find any driverdownloadfor Vistaonyour model page, that means your model is not Vistacompatible.

Connection problem


Check and make sure that all of the cables are firmly connected including the printer's power cable and the cable that connects the printer and your computer. Cables can seem connected but occasionally, they can work their way loose just enough to interrupt the contact.

Check the cables to make sure they aren't damaged. It's pretty common for a cable to become damaged if a chair with wheels has rolled over it a time or two. That would be enough to interrupt the connection between the computer and the printer. If it looks like you have a damaged cable, you'll have to replace it.

If the cables are well connected and undamaged and the printer is turned on, try rebooting the computer, then see if it will recognize the printer.

If those steps don't work, you'll probably need to uninstall and reinstall the printer software and drivers. It would be ideal if you had the original CD with the printer software on it, but those disks usually get lost over time.

If you don't have the original software disk, you can download the necessary software from HP's site:

I didn't find a web page that provided the specific instructions for reinstalling the printer, but you can download the user's manual from the site:

Lost serial number for my Nero 6c OEM Software


You can contact Nero directly and see if they are able to reissue a product key if you can provide them with a proof of purchase. Otherwise you are out of luck and will have to find the original serial.

Un fortunatey if you didnt make a copy of the original disc and you definitely have lost the original, it means purchasing the whole lot again.
