Its absolutely not normal...turn the pc off or it might get fried..
if you are a novice at hardware you can change the fan otherwise you'll have to get the fan changed from a tech..

My 1998 Cadillac Eldorado runs fine until I get to 55mph or more, the in it starts running past normal to hot. I slow down to 45 and it goes back to normal.

Try turning on the heat, full hot and high fan when it starts to overheat. Does the temp go down?

It could be the thermostat not opening completely. It could be a hose collapsing. It could be a radiator that is somewhat clogged.

The cooling fan is louder than the usual, and apparently working at full speed even that there is no heat or tasks that require this action... Is there anything that i can do...

This is mean your fan is start to deteriorated. As long as your power supply working normal, your fan speed is normal as well. The problem is the bearing of your fan and need curing or replacement.

Hi, gateway w323-ul1 laptop cooling fan is not working.

Try blowing out junk in the fan by shooting air in the out vent. You can also try making up a very small hook with a paper clip and trying to see if you can pull out any junk.

If the Laptop is still under warranty call tech support. If not, you should still check the FAQ and knowledge base at the Gateway website.

Laptop fans don't run continuously. They normally run during boot and when the laptop gets too hot.

Hp slimline cooling fan is always running

there is not really an answer for this question.
your machine has fan o fans running all times to avoid the CPU from over heating and BURNING, you see how compact it is. consider this. how much heat will come from the CPU, hard drive, GPU, RAM sticks and cd/dvd drive, ahve them all working and not cooling system at all your pc will overheat in less than 20 minutes.

Tower fan runs continualy

It depends on the fan. Most built-in fans can have their speedaltere by the motherboard, if they are connected to it. If they are hooked up to the power supply, they will always run on maximum speed. I they are on the power supply, try attaching them o te motherboard. There's also a lot of fans that are set to one speed, for example 2000rpm, and they will never go faster or slower than that. The only way to get them to run slower is by using a fan controller. I hope this answers your question, Yannick.

Toshiba Satelite M10 cooling system not working

If you DO NOT hear the fan running, have it looked at by a professional. Your fan may have died. If you can hear the fan running, blow out the fan exhaust port in the opposite direction of normal air flow. Especially on lap tops, the heat sink cooling fins become completely clogged with dust. When this happens the processor overheats causing it to run slow and eventually shuts itself down to keep from going super nova. You should blow it out at least once or twice a year. Also, if you use your laptop on the couch or in bed, place it on a hard surface like a cutting board or something similar that will allow air to flow underneath the computer. This will also help prevent dust from the cushions or blankets and such from clogging the cooling fins on the heat sink faster than usual. Remember blow it out in the opposite direction of normal air flow. You want to blow the dust out the same passage it came in through.

If less than 90 days, it is under Sony's full coverage. Usually the fan runs intermitantly. Check that air paths are not restricted.

Lenovo laptop shutdown suddenly after working for a while

Hi James, replace the fan or If it's still under warranty have it serviced. Suggest you stop turning it on until the fan is replaced. It could be the fan cooling the CPU. You don't want it to fry.
The shut down process is normal when over heating is detected by the system.
