Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: dvd player not playing discs
did you check to see if you had the audio video cables on the dvd player plugged in the right place also you might want to get a s-video cable it is much easier that way not toooo much problem to hook it up you plug it in to your tv and the other part of the cable plugs into your dvd player where it says s-video

SOURCE: Wrong Disc
Are you referring to a prerecorded commercially produced DVD?
Discs are Region Coded This means that you will not be able to watch DVDs intended for use in a different country, unless you have a multi region player. .
There are two video standard formats, NTSC which is mostly North America, and PAL which is the rest of the world. Some players will play both, others won't. Some DVD players allow you to select the format.

SOURCE: No Power
Open the cover , there must be a blown fuse, replace with another fuse of same value. If still not working take to service centre. This is a case of SMPS power supply failure.

there is a circuit in the color section to put the tv to black and white if the color subcarrier is missing from the broadcast signal.
it is called a color killer and needs to be adjusted.
it is for a technician to do.
it operates off the 3.58mhz color subcarrier.
