Question about Intel DG31PR Motherboard
Hi, Recently i have upgraded my system from Intel 845,P4 to IntelDG31PR with 2 GB(single) DDR2 RAM, Intel Dual core Processor 2.2 Ghz. Earlier i have 2 Hard disks with Windows XP and Windows server 2003. Am able to swap between the OS by selecting the HDD to boot from setup. Now after upgradation when i tried to login to Windows server 2003, am getting an error with blue screen going for Dump. can you help me
No Intel Desktop MBs "officially" support Windows Server Operating System. Having said that, the components on the MB are pretty conventional, and you should be able to build a machine running Windows Server 2003 by manually installing WinXP drivers for the otherwise unsupported features.
It sounds like the original poster wanted to boot off install HDs from another machine without performing an install - I'd strongly suggest starting with a fresh install.
