SOURCE: front wipers stopped working but you can hear the motor run also

If the wipers were buried under snow/ice or frozen to the windshield, you may have blown the red 10 amp fuse located in cavity 9 in the fuse block located on the bottom left side of the instrument panel near the parking brake pedal.
In order of easiest to check:
1) ensure wipers not frozen to windshield.
2) ensure wiper arms are not loose on the pivot stud,
3) check the red 10 amp fuse.
You stated that "you can hear the motor". Which motor do you hear? The engine or the wiper motor?
If you hear the wiper motor, then the fuse is alright. Try 1) and 2) above.

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Front Noise

I had the same problem, my mechanic has had this same problem with other 2003 grand caravans. Flush the power steering fluid, replace it with ATF+4 and add Lucas power steering additive. Apparently dodge has posted the fluid that was originally used is causing this problem. $100 and it is purring like a kitten

No pressure. lights not guage. Where is the oil pump how much might the parts be?

if the oil pressure is actually low (and not just a false indication) then you should hear valve lifters making a clatter .. if they are not making noise then you might just have a bad oil pressure sending unit (small part that screws in) .. if you do hear clatter then in some cars the intake screen on the oil pump can be clogged with sludge ... that doesnt happen often with the caravan but possible if oil hasnt been changed for a long time ... the oil pump is located inside the crank case and service requires removal of the pan ... if you have valve clatter then driving the car can do a lot of damage if the problem is not fixed ... check the oil filter for damage or clogging ... of course check oil level. a milky appearence in the oil would indicate water in the oil (often a blown head gasket) ..

2007 dodge grandcaravan knocking noise

If your engine has a rod knock the engine has to be rebuilt or replaced rebuilt is about $2000 to $3000 dollars and a new motor even more.It is unusal for a rod to be out around 60,000 miles unless it was ran real hard or run out of oil or way low on oil.

Very hard knocking, maybe valve lifter ? ran out of oil and ran it for a few miles. it stalled, then noticed no oil, the oil pan plug had fallen out/ filled it up with oil and put in new oil pan plug....

as much as i hate to say this, you probably have a rod knock and it is time to replace that motor. if a repair facility changed the oil, they are responsible.

Bad oil leak around oil pan, does somebody have an engine diagram for the Dodge 3.0 in this Grand Caravan?

This is what I found on my 1998 with a 3.0 motor Most likely you have a rusted pan with a hole on the passenger side of pan, clean the oil pan real good and inspect it real good and check for small leaks,
Also the transmission pan is also known to rust through on the left side top and bottom, Salt and brime plays heck on all pans and brake lines

I am having oil problems.

it is very possible that it is the oil pump but before you change it check out the oil sending unit normally it is somewhere around the oil filter and to answer your question the oil pump is in the oil pan

My oil light is coming on, but the oil is full.

Did he inspect the oil pick-up tube before putting new pan on? If the old pan was caved in roughly where pick-up tube would be in pan. it may have bent it up to a point where it doesn't **** up the oil, or the tube could be cracked above the oil level & sucking more air, than oil.
