Maybe you need yo update your drives for it.

Go to the website of the manufacturer and see if you need to download something for it.

If not please feel free to reply and I will be more than happy to help.

Hope this helped

Wow, that's a real shame. I would say try to sell it? I know it seems kinda of pointless but some people try to fix things up. In fact, I do it all the time I love doing it. Try or to look for a new one.

    Sorry for your printer failure,

    Hope this helped

Meaning of error code 6500 on a canon pixma ip 4200

According the the owner's manual for your printer, this error code pertains to other hardware, specifically your logical unit (motherboard). I would recommend uninstalling any software that is related to this printer and reinstalling it again.

To uninstall software: Select Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > select Canon Pixma from list > follow prompts.

To reinstall use the disc that came with your printer, or if you no longer have it you can download the software from:

Just follow the on-screen directions.

Hope this helps.

Replaced two ink tanks in my pixma but the lights will not flash

You cant realy do anything, i had the same problem whit my IP5000.
I tryed everything but nothing helped, after speaking whit canon here in sweden they told me to let it be, after next tank instalation it will disappear and you printer will be as usal again. Canon told that the problem is on the chip on the tank. When the printer tell you that the tank is empty or not right just press the blinking yellow button on the printer and hold it for at least 5 seconds.

Good luck

Ink tanks are running low... BUT!

Have you changed anything on your pc such as installed updates windows or interent settings, this can often adversely affect printer fuction as many printers cannot handle certain settings and operating environments. I would first clear all printing jobs (click on printer and select cancel print queue or similar message. Now turn printer off, disconnect all cords and usb cables. re plug and turn on and try again. You can also check printer driver function, go to start, control panel, perf and main, hardware, scroll down to your printer, see if any yellow exclamation marks. This could mean a driver problem. It may be incompatable if you have changed anything or it may be malfunctioning due to spyware or other. I also suggest running full anti spyware and virus checks. I all this fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer.

Red colour prints brown

Just replace the non genuine inks with proper Canon ones and then do about 4 full cleans, that should fix it. If not you will have to replace the printhead, which is usually caused by using non genuine ink. Good luck
