my deep fryer was heating and now has no power at all

-   Unit is a couple of years old - but only used once last fall.
Same thing - plug in, red light is on,
but nothing happening - no heat, etc.
Frustrating since it did work so nice last fall.-   stevennu

Check the plug and then remove the bottom plate and look to see if the wires are still connected. Check another outlet to make sure a breaker wasn't tripped.
