Question about Kenmore Elite 22.4 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator with Adjusta Cube Ice Maker
What is this message? How can correct this problem?
Er ff indicates that the computer on your refrig is not sensing freezer fan operation. a guess as to your problem is that the fan is hitting on ice (the noise your hearing) and teh fan is not able to reach operation speed causing the error code. the fix would be to remove the ice from the fan area either maually or by unplugging the unit and letting it defrost for several hours. also to reset the computer you will neeed to unplug it for a few minutes then plugging it back up. hope that helps thanks Peyton

Error Code "Er FF" indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan.
The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue. This can be caused by frost accumulation on or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allow this to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.
