Question about Maytag Dryers
The dryer belt came off. Got inside and the idler pulley was laying on it's side. Not sure how to put it back. Do you have a photo that I can follow or step by step instructions
I have no picture but it sounds to me like my old dryer. There should be a couple slots on the bottom piece of sheet metal. The pulley will appear to just loosely sit in these...wtf??? Its a trick its mostly the reverse pressure of holding the belt that keeps it in place. So when you removed the belt the idler just kinda fell outta place. mine was a whirpool though so ur situation could be totally different. good luck
