Question about Rinnai RHFE-1004FA 38,400 BTU Energy Saver Ductless Heater - Natural Gas
My rinnai has been running constantly this winter and the power indicator light is usually green, but lately the light is red. I have tried turning it off, to reset it. The light will be green for a few seconds, then turns red again. I have cleaned the filters and checked the vent and there are not error messages. Should I be worried?

If its not producing heat, yep! If it is, it indicates that there is an error code stored in memory.

This fusible link may be open. Try jumpering the two leads and see if the unit operates. If it does replace the fusible link. Do not operate the unit without the fusible link for an extended period. It is a safety device and is there for a reason. Hope this helps.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the info. By the fusible link, did you mean the part F (Fuse) or the thermal fuse (TF) which consists of TF1, TF2 amd TF3?"
