When using my charmglow, the heater turns off automatically after about 2-3 minutes even though the room is not heated. This happens repeatedly. No other appliances are being used on the this electrical outlet. Any suggestions anyone?
-   I have the same problem, but I believe I know what caused it. I have a 100 pound Rottweiler that loves to lay by the heater. He lays right up against it, cutting off the air flow at the bottom. I would pull him away, turn around, and a few minutes later he'd be right back against it. After a few months of that going on all the time, the heater started going into shutdown mode from 30 seconds to a few minutes after if was turned on. I don't know the cure, but I'm thinking that it has something to do with it overheating. Comments?

I'm getting a 35000 btu natural gas wall heater to replace an old one install in the hallway if my 900 square foot house. Any opinions on whether I should go with a gravity or counter flow model? Priced out central heat but too expensive!

Honeywell CM907 programmable thermostat seems to have problems with party mode when the optimisation mode is set on. Is this a known fault? I also have a CM927 not set to optimisation and never experience problems but the CM907 sometimes locks up when party mode is pressed and only removing and replacing batteries solves it. I have currently disabled optimisation but don't know whether the problem is solved as it seems to be intermittent.

I have a Dyna-Glo Tag-a-long single heater. When it is started it runs for 5-10 minutes and turns off. Any ideas? It can be lit again but does the same thing over and over.
