Question about Panasonic CT-30WX54 30" TV
Turned off last night with remote. Won't power on today. Tried power button on TV. Tested outlet for power--it's okay. Checked manual troubleshooting guide--no solutions works. Any suggestions?
Estimated cost of repair?
If you're any good at repairs I would check for an in line fuse. Check right where the power cord hooks into the TV. They sometimes blow just as you've discribed. If it's blown it's a pretty safe bet that replacing it will fix the problem. There is however a slight chance that something else might have blown it so if you replace it and it blows again take it to the shop. You've got a high 90"s % chance it's a 50cent fuse though. Good luck.
