Hi there. I think this will work for you. (You may have to go to a really bright room or shine a flashlight on the screen, so you can see, since it is dark right now.)  Go into the menu and navigate to monitor settings. Go to Brightness and there are 5 choices you can make to brighten the screen to your liking. - Let me know if that works for you and give me a vote.

How do I restore my pc back to factory settingg

1) Turn on your computer. Right away there will be a black screen. You can restore factory settings without a CD, too. This will reset your BIOS.

  • 2) Press F1 when the black screen appears; you will enter the setup configuration mode. You will be presented with a menu.

  • 3) Select Restore Factory Defaults. Your computer will do all the work for you. As with the CD, this process may take several hours.

  • OR

As soon as your computer is turning on press the F10 key and it will take you to the system recovery screen, click on the advanced option and click Destructive recovery and click next. WARNING: before doing this backup anything on your computer you want to keep pictures, videos, music etc.. this will delete everything that did not come pre-loaded from the factory, so if you have pictures of Aunt Fae's Class reunion you should probably back those up if you wanna keep them.
To keep your PC fresh and optimize it to best performance use system utility software RegInOut

Lower right corner of screen has developed a large black square.

    Hello kailuajacqui:
It sounds like someone has turned on the picture in picture option on your Television. The reason it is a black screen is because it is not setup on a station or other input in order for you to see anything.
Check your manual for how to turn off your PIP (Picture in Picture) option. Or just hit the PIP button on your remote control.

If this helped just click the thumbs up.

    Screen black

The camera is fine. Since it is an Single Lens Reflex (SLR), it is not possible to use the LCD screen to compose your pictures. Canon answers that here: CanonUSA

    Cracked screen, and other stuff.

Did you know of anything you did to physically crack the screen?
As for the clicking-- that is the hard drive. It is either dead or stuck. you may want to try to "unstick" it the Risky way. To do this, Place a stack of paper on a table, and smack the ipod against it. Obviously you should do it to the back to avoid breaking the click wheel or screen (even though your screen may be broken already.)
As for the "very low battery" thing, just plug it into a computer or Ac adapter and let it sit. It will eventually charge.
