You have to isolate yellow-black cabel. This cabel was in contact with earth and it was the reason, why you have Mute on the display.

You should have a button that says ATT, that is your mute button. If that doesn't work then you could always disconnect the car battery and reconnect it again.

I have an pioneer deh-7000bt stereo and it keeps going to mute? how do I fix it?

You need to remove the stereo from the dash and make sure the Tel mute wires are not shorting on any metal. tape up any wires that are not connected.

Hope this helps

My Pioneer car stereo stops all audio signal after a couple of minutes regardless whether i'm playing a CD or the radio, but the stereo stays on. and the CD seconds and minutes still count, do you know why...

Check your connections to your speakers and amp and look for loose wires touching metal. I believe your stereo is fine, this has something to do with your speakers and the speaker wire
